PETS & ANIMALS

Pets are not permitted for stays shorter than three months or to transit through the Faroe Islands to another country. Ordinary pets can only be imported to the Faroe Islands if the person has a permanent address in the Faroe Islands, or if the person plans on moving to the Faroe Islands for a longer stay than three months.

As a general rule, it is prohibited to import exotic and dangerous animals to the Faroe Islands.
